Shaun Thompson and Frantisek Bakrlik combined for seven points as Bracknell Bees beat MK Thunder for a second time this season in Sunday’s clash at the John Nike Leisuresport Complex.

Thompson got Bracknell on the board with four minutes remaining in the first period before the floodgates opened in the second frame.

Bakrlik found the net 48 seconds into the middle stanza and it was soon 3-0 to the home team courtesy of Callum Best’s power play marker.

Czech forward Bakrlik added his second with under five minutes before the intermission, with Thompson following up to make it 5-0 Bees through 40 minutes.

Lewis Christie and Harrison Goode combined to set up Hallden Barnes-Garner in the 47th minute to end Daniel Milton’s shutout bid and get Thunder on the board.

Thompson completed his hat trick with three minutes left in the game but there was still time for Rupert Quiney to setup Tom Carlon for one more MKT goal as Lewis Clifford’s men fell by a final score of 6-2.
