By Tom Hurley

Shaun Thompson and Frantisek Bakrlik combined for seven points as Bracknell Bees beat MK Thunder for a second time this season in Sundayís clash at the John Nike Leisuresport Complex.

Thompson got Bracknell on the board with four minutes remaining in the first period before the floodgates opened in the second frame.

Bakrlik found the net 48 seconds into the middle stanza and it was soon 3-0 to the home team courtesy of Callum Bestís power play marker.

Czech forward Bakrlik added his second with under five minutes before the intermission, with Thompson following up to make it 5-0 Bees through 40 minutes.

Lewis Christie and Harrison Goode combined to set up Hallden Barnes-Garner in the 47th minute to end Daniel Miltonís shutout bid and get Thunder on the board.

Thompson completed his hat trick with three minutes left in the game but there was still time for Rupert Quiney to setup Tom Carlon for one more MKT goal as Lewis Cliffordís men fell by a final score of 6-2.

Thunder travel to Streatham for the lone game of the upcoming weekend on Sunday, with the next home game coming on Sunday, October 15, when Invicta Dynamos roll into Milton Keynes for a 6.30 p.m. face off.
