MK Thunder begin the 2018-19 NIHL season Saturday with a road trip to South London to take on Streatham IHC at Streatham Ice & Leisure Centre.
The 5:30 p.m. contest will be a duel competition game, counting towards both the NIHL 1 and NIHL Cup.
MKT enter Saturday night’s league and cup curtain raiser on the back of a pair of preseason wins over Slough Jets last weekend. Two goals from Michael Stratford helped Thunder to a 2-1 win Saturday, while another two goals from Stratford, 31 saves from Josh Crane, and a hat-trick from Tomas Rubes saw MKT earn a 8-1 win Sunday.
Streatham played Swindon Wildcats in preseason, losing 4-3 to the Wildcats at The Link Centre Saturday before falling 6-1 to Swindon in London Sunday.
Tickets for Saturday’s game at Streatham Ice & Leisure Centre are priced at £12 Over 16s and £7 for Under 16s, Students, and Senior Citizens.
Peterborough Phantoms visit MK Arena on Sunday, Sep. 23 for the the first league & cup game in Milton Keynes this season. Tickets for the 6:45 p.m. game in Milton Keynes are set at £10 Adults, £1 Under 16s, and £5 16-18, Students, and Concessions.
