MK Thunder host Peterborough Phantoms this Sunday evening at MK Arena with game time set for 6:45 p.m.
Sunday will be MKT’s first home NIHL 1 & NIHL Cup game of 2018-19 after an offseason that saw the additions of NIHL First All-Star Jordan Lawday, Lithuanian forward Ruslan Cernych, MK Lightning callups Lewis English and Ollie Stone, and Czech forward Tomas Rubes.
Thunder twice defeated Slough Jets in preseason before earning a point at Streatham IHC in South London last weekend top begin the league and cup seasons.
Peterborough enter the game on the back of two Autumn Cup wins over Telford Tigers and will play London Raiders in their first game of the NIHL 1 and NIHL Cup campaigns at home Saturday .
Jordan Lawday and Rio Grinell-Parke will be signing autographs shortly after Sunday’s 6:45 p.m. game. The line to meet Jordan and Rio will open by the MKT bench after both teams have left the ice postgame. Jordan and Rio will spend some moments in the dressing room before coming out to sign.
Doors at MK Arena open at 5:45 p.m. with tickets priced at £10 Adults, £5 16-18 / Concessions, and £1 Under 16s.
