Bracknell Bees v MK Thunder 7th Oct 2018

Thunder needed to lift themselve for the trip to Bracknell to take on league leaders, The Bees, in their barn. After the two previous performances, Thunder had to stop the rot and put in a collective performance which was competitive and they certainly did that.

A much better display despite being reduced to four defencemen before the start when Ollie Lord was taken ill.

Jordan Lawday put in a man of the match performance between the pipes, stopping 39 of the 41 shots he faced and the rest of the team fought hard to hold the Bees offence and then try to hit them on the break.

Although still a 0 – 2 loss, this was much more like Thunder are capable of playing, they just need to start finding the net!
