Thunder play all home games at Planet Ice Milton Keynes, a 2,800 capacity arena opened in 1990, and refurbished in 2014. Planet Ice is located one minute’s walk from Milton Keynes Central train station, and is within the Leisure Plaze complex, adjacent to Morrisons supermarket, Argos, and Toys R Us.
Seating is raised above the ice surface, with standing room around the rink, and further viewing locations available inside Tag Taylor’s bar & grill. Wheelchair viewing is located rinkside to the right of the Thunder bench.
Doors usually open on hour before face off. A smoking area is provided outside reception between periods. Bathroom facilities are located in the bar, in the cafe, and in the far left corner of the building as you enter the rink.
Drums are placed in various seating areas on game nights for the use of Thunder supporters. Air horns are not permitted. Please be courteous to your fellow supporters and wait until breaks in play to leave or return to your seat.

Food & Drink:
Tag Taylor’s Bar & Grill overlooks the ice surface, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages on game nights. Tag Taylor’s is accessible via the staircase and lift located through the doors on the right of the reception area as you walk in.
The arena cafe serves hot and cold food, along with hot and cold drinks. There is a large seating area and service counter directly in front of you as you enter the building, with a serving counter rinkside to the left as you enter the rink. Vending machines with snacks and drinks are located around the building.
There are several pay and display car parks surrounding the arena. There is also a council owned car park adjacent to the Morrisons car park, which is free to use after 6 p.m.
There are several bike parking stations outside of the arena entrance. There are also large bike parking facilities in station square, in front of Milton Keynes Central train station.
Busses from across Milton Keynes pass through Central Milton Keynes central train station throughout the day. Turn left when approaching the front of the train station, and the arena is one minute’s walk directly in front of you.
Milton Keynes Central train station is on the west coast mainline, with regular trains to London, Birmingham, and beyond. Local services stop at Bletchley, Wolverton, Fenny Stratford, and Northampton. Turn right upon exiting the train station and the arena is a one minute walk directly in front of you.
